In what is now almost cliche another UW student has been connected to the performance enhancing drug scandal. This risk-taking student is the first to test positive and be sanctioned for human growth hormone, or hGH, in North America. The student, Matt Socholotiuk, is one of nine UW students to be caught in what was no doubt a collaborative effort. Until this point, testing for hGH has been unconventional due to the biochemical nature and technology for detecting hGH.
Perhaps UW students will use their critical thinking to come up with new, innovative ways of cheating at sports.
